Continuing our busy winter testing schedule, Jensen MotorSport will shift gears to develop more talented young drivers in our Formula BMW race cars in the month of March.
March 5th and 6th, the JMS team will visit the Road Atlanta circuit in Braselton Georgia. Formula BMW last raced on the Road Atlanta circuit in September 2005, with JMS driver Daniel Herrington setting a new race lap record en route to finishing 4th.
March 19-20, the JMS team will visit the Roebling Road circuit in Savannah Georgia. JMS tests extensively at the Savannah circuit, since it has a good mix of high and low speed corners, which is very good for training young drivers.
The JMS team plans to enter 2 cars in the 2008 Formula BMW Americas championship, which includes two high-profile events with Formula 1 at Montreal Canada and Sao Paolo Brazil. |
