Jensen MotorSport Provides Prize for Formula BMW World Final 2007

August 6 , 2007

Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin: August 6, 2007 – Jensen MotorSport is pleased to announce an exciting prize for drivers achieving a podium finish with our team at the Formula BMW World Final.

Jensen MotorSport is offering a sponsored drive in one of our Champ Car Atlantic race cars at the Champ Car World Series season ending Arizona Grand Prix event, to be staged on the downtown streets of Phoenix, Arizona on the weekend of November 30 – December 1, 2007.

Jensen MotorSport Team Principal Eric Jensen states, “Our team had a great experience at the 2006 Formula BMW World Final with our driver Frankie Muniz. We are also proud that we graduated both our 2006 Formula BMW USA drivers up to our Champ Car Atlantic team for the 2007 season. It is clear that the BMW concept teaches young drivers what they need to learn to be competitive in higher-level race series, and we hope this incentive will further help develop the careers of some talented young drivers within our team.”

The Formula BMW World Final 2007 will take place at the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain from 22nd – 25th November. The event will see the world’s leading Formula BMW drivers battling it out for overall victory. Visit www.formulabmwusa.com for more details about the Formula BMW World Final.

The Champ Car Atlantic championship is the premier open-wheel driver development series in North America. The list of Atlantic graduates over the past 33 years reads like a “who’s who” of open-wheel racing royalty. Rahal. Vasser. Villeneuve. Sullivan. Andretti. Rosberg. Tracy. Hornish. Wheldon. Every one of the aforementioned drivers used the series as a springboard to legendary careers in open-wheel racing worldwide. Visit www.champcaratlantic.com for more details about the Champ Car Atlantic championship.

The Jensen MotorSport team has fielded three cars in the 2007 Champ Car Atlantic championship for drivers including Frankie Muniz and Tom Sutherland. The team has also fielded cars in the Formula BMW USA championship since its inception in 2004.
