OTTAWA'S PAUL ALBERT TESTS TOYOTA ATLANTICS

December 23, 2005

Paul Albert has just completed an intensive four day test program in the Swift 014 Toyota Atlantic car with veteran Atlantic competitor Jensen MotorSport.

Albert, who hails from Ottawa Canada, completed two days each in December at Savannah Georgia and Carolina MotorSport Park. Team owner Eric Jensen stated, "Paul has an agressive but intelligent plan to develop his skills to be a competitive professional race car driver. With only 2 years of racing experience, Paul quickly became a top driver in the Skip Barber National Series, and his plans to continue testing with our team should see him rapidly improve his skills to race competitively in a limited pro Atlantic schedule in 2006."

Paul Albert finished 7th overall in the 2005 Skip Barber National Series, with a best finish of 4th at Road America. About his test, Paul stated, "The Atlantic car is an awesome machine. Quick and responsive, the car is so much fun to drive. It was great to experience the car on both the technical Carolina circuit, and the high speed Savannah circuit. I look forward to our next test in Sebring Florida in January."

"Paul quickly adapted to the driving style of the Atlantic car" stated engineer Adam Marchitto. "His lap times were competitive with the experienced European drivers that we have tested this off-season at the Savannah circuit, which bodes well for Paul to be competitive in the new Atlantic series".
