Jensen MotorSport had an extremely busy season in 2005. Competing in three different professional racing series, and organizing a broad range of events worldwide.
ChampCar World Series: Jensen took major step in it's existance as a tier one racing team by competing in the top level North American open-wheel racing series. After competing for many years at the Long Beach Grand Prix (Los Angeles, California) in both the Toyota Atlantic and Indy Lights categories, it was a special time for Jensen to compete in the feature ChampCar World Series event.
Toyota Atlantic Championship: Jensen has for many years been competing in the tier two North American open-wheel road racing championship. Jensen was focussing our 2005 racing plans on the ChampCar World Series and Formula BMW USA championships, but still did enter cars in 9 of the 12 races on the 2005 schedule, with a best finish of 5th by team owner Eric Jensen at the Molson Indy Toronto in July.
Formula BMW USA: What might have been as it seemed at least two of Jensen's blue cars would regularly qualify in the top 5 at each round of the 2005 Formula BMW USA championship. Jensen race cars were always quick and well prepared, and it was clear that our young drivers developed a great deal both as racers and young men.
